Description Moritz Muehlenhoff univentionstaff 2014-05-09 14:28:20 CEST
The wizard to create a new computer is a modal dialogue, i.e. whenever someone is working with the dialogue she cannot access other tabs in the UMC.

THis is inconvenient for the UCC setup wizard: At the end of UCC setup wizard the steps to create a UCC client are displayed, but the user cannot switch back to the tab displayed the information.

The wizard should rather open a new tab. This would also resolve the problem with the static size of the wizard (which cannot easily be resized to cope with more input fields).

Initially, there were just a few ComboBox values to chose from. This is why there is a dialogue. However, now the initial dialogue is somewhat more complex.

Overlaying the current UDM module tab with a wizard page should be fine, as well. This would also resolve problems due to a fixed height.

This issue has been filed against UCS 3. UCS 3 is out of the normal maintenance and many UCS components have vastly changed in UCS 4.

If this issue is still valid, please change the version to a newer UCS version otherwise this issue will be automatically closed in the next weeks.
